In 1966, Ivan Ivanovich began his career in the city of Lisakovsk as a senior power engineer at the Promstroy 
construction department of the Lisakovskrudstroy trust, then worked as an adjustment engineer at the Kazelektromontazh trust department.
From 1970 to 2004, he worked as the head of the electrical equipment testing group, the head of the department, the deputy chief engineer,
 the chief engineer of the enterprise at the Kustanayenergo enterprise of Western power grids.

Over the entire period of his career, he has established himself as a good leader who introduced innovations into production,
 educated a whole galaxy of power engineers. An experienced specialist and not indifferent person, he paid much attention to the education of young people.

Author of the books "High Voltage", "The Attraction of Lisakovsk" and "Lisakovskie Dawns".
For conscientious work, he was repeatedly awarded with certificates of honor.

The title "Honorary Citizen of the city of Lisakovsk" was awarded by the decision of the session of the Lisakovsk city maslikhat 
of the third convocation of November 6, 2008 No. 118.
