Locksmith-repairman of the plant of gravitational-magnetic enrichment of the Lisakovsk ore mining and processing plant.
 Veteran of the Great Patriotic War.
Since 1966, Vasily Stepanovich worked in the city of Lisakovsk as head of the UMR-2, head of the small mechanization workshop
 of the Lisakovsky mining and processing plant, mechanic, deputy head of the GMO factory.
He perfectly mastered the technological process, put a lot of effort and energy into ensuring the stable operation of the LGOK
 gravitational-magnetic enrichment plant. Innovator. His rationalization proposals more than once ensured the stability of the 
factory's equipment.

He proved himself to be a competent specialist, a skillful organizer and educator of labor collectives.
Youth mentor. He was engaged in public work: he was the chairman of the Public Council of the 4th and 5th microdistricts, 
a member of the City Council of War Veterans, a lecturer.
He was awarded the Order of the "Patriotic War" II degree and medals.

The title "Honorary Citizen of the city of Lisakovsk" was awarded by the decision of the Executive Committee of the
 Council of People's Deputies dated April 29, 1985, No. 109.
