Biakhmetov Askar Saktaganovich

Askar Biakhmetov was born in 1975 in the Aktobe region. He graduated from the Kazakh State Academy of Management, KazGUA, and the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

From 1993 to 2004, he worked in the regional financial department, the Profilaktorium recreation center, the Tax Committee, the city akimat, and also held senior positions in the treasury and finance departments of the Aktobe region.

2004-2009 — Head of the Treasury Department for the Akmola region.

2009-2014 — Head of Department of the Constitutional Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

2014-2015 — Director of the Department for Development of the Public Administration System of the Ministry of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

2015-2018 — Deputy Akim of the Aktobe region.

2019-2020 — Advisor to the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

2020-2023 — Deputy Head of the Office of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

2023-2024 — Deputy Head of the Government Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

2024-2025 — Vice Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

From November 2025 to august 3, 2026 he served as Advisor to the Minister of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
