Began his career in 1989 as a worker at the Gordeevsky state farm.

From 1997 to 2008, held various positions in the Tax Committee of the North Kazakhstan region.

2008-2011 - Akim of Shal Akyn district, North Kazakhstan region.

2011-2012 - Manager of the peasant farm “Amrin K.K.”

2013-2015 - Deputy Director of the Tax and Customs Policy Department of the Ministry of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
