Biography
Gizzat Baitursynov was born on January 21, 1994, in Shymkent, Kazakhstan.
He graduated from Asia Pacific University in 2018 with a degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
In 2020, he graduated from D.A. Kunaev University with a degree in Law.
He started his professional career in 2018 at the construction company El Kondy.
In 2019, he served as a Records Management Inspector at the Department for Electronic Industry Development of the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovations and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
In 2020, he worked as an Expert and later Chief Expert at the Department for Electronic Industry Development of the same Ministry.
From 2021 to 2022, he served as Head of the Electronics Development Division within the Department for Electronic Industry Development.
From 2022 to 2023 - Deputy Director of the Department for Electronic Industry and Digital Assets Development.
From 2023 to 2024 - Director of the Department for Electronic Industry and Digital Assets Development.
From 2024 to 202 - Chairman of the Committee for Artificial Intelligence and Innovation Development under the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovations and Aerospace Industry.
In 2025, he was appointed Chairman of the Committee for Artificial Intelligence and Data Governance under the Ministry of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
In 2026 - Chairman of the Committee for Digital Assets and Breakthrough Technologies under the Ministry of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development.
Since June 2026, he has been serving as Vice Minister of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
