Institution No. 8 of the Department of the Penal Enforcement System for the Aktobe Region hosted an event dedicated to Nelson Mandela International Day.
The event was attended by Timur Zhakeyev, Acting Representative of the Commissioner for Human Rights of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Aktobe Region, the institution's staff, and inmates.
During the meeting, participants discussed issues related to the protection of human rights, the resocialization of inmates, as well as the importance of humane treatment and the rule of law in the execution of criminal sentences.
At the conclusion of the event, participants emphasized the importance of such initiatives in promoting legal awareness and supporting the successful social reintegration of inmates.
