President’s 2026 Address

The Path to a Digital Economy, Sustainability, and Renewal
The world is experiencing an era of large-scale transformations and global challenges that demand flexibility, decisiveness, and a clear strategy from states. Under these conditions, Kazakhstan confidently enters a new historical stage of its development, continuing its course toward systemic reforms, economic modernization, and the strengthening of sovereignty. In his latest Address, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev outlined key priorities that will define the country's trajectory in the near term.
The cornerstone for the successful implementation of all planned transformations remains national unity, social harmony, and stability. In times of global turbulence, these very values serve as an unshakeable foundation, allowing the state to maintain internal balance and look to the future with confidence.

One of the central pillars of this new phase will be the creation of a full-fledged digital economy. Kazakhstan is taking a course toward a major technological breakthrough: the widespread implementation of artificial intelligence and modern IT technologies across all spheres of life—from public administration to industry and the social sector—has been declared a top priority. The primary goal of this move is to firmly consolidate the country’s status as a key regional digital hub.

A technological leap is impossible without a strong economy, which is why the state is completely revising its approach to attracting capital. Efforts to attract both foreign and domestic investments will be fundamentally restructured, and a single specialized organization will be designated for systematic interaction with investors. At the same time, supporting domestic business and continuously improving the investment climate remain absolute priorities of state policy.
In parallel, special attention is being paid to the country's transport and logistics arteries. The Head of State instructed that strict order be established in the road freight transportation sector, the modernization of key highways be accelerated, and all infrastructure bottlenecks hindering the realization of Kazakhstan's transit potential be eliminated.
Ultimately, all the announced reforms and initiatives are aligned with a single goal: to ensure the sustainable development of the state and a real improvement in the quality of life for every citizen. Which of these initiatives do you find most crucial for the future of our country
