On October 20, 2026, ahead of Republic Day, celebrated on October 25, a Makarov pistol shooting competition was held among employees of the Department of the Penal Enforcement System for Aktobe Region.
The main objectives of the competition were to improve employees’ professional training, enhance their firearms handling skills, develop shooting accuracy, and foster healthy competition within the team.
During the competition, male and female employees of the Department demonstrated their shooting skills, testing their accuracy and ability to remain focused while carrying out assigned tasks.
The results among male participants were as follows:
1st place — Captain of Justice Salamat Eleuov — 72 points;
2nd place — Captain of Justice Nurdaulet Ishanqulov — 61 points;
3rd place — Senior Lieutenant of Justice Samat Samalykov — 37 points.
Among female participants:
1st place — Lieutenant Colonel of Justice Assel Akhmetova — 76 points;
2nd place — Aizhan Utenova — 74 points;
3rd place — Aliya Aktabaeva — 60 points.
Following the competition, the winners were presented with awards in recognition of their achievements.
The competition served as an important initiative aimed at improving employees’ professional training, reinforcing safe and confident firearms handling skills, and developing the professional qualities necessary for the effective performance of their official duties.
