Meeting with the Commander of the Lebanese Army

Lebanon's Army Commander General Rodolphe Haykal, on October 26 received Ambassador of Kazakhstan to the Republic of Lebanon Rasul Jumaly. During the meeting, which took place in a warm atmosphere, the both sides discussed the current state and future prospects of bilateral relations. Particular attention was paid to cooperation and the exchange of expertise in the defense sector, the potential for concluding agreements, and participation in military equipment exhibitions. They also addressed matters concerning the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL), which includes peacekeepers from Kazakhstan.
