Today, an agricultural fair featuring products from Karmakshy District was held on Zhurba Street in the city of Kyzylorda. The main purpose of the event was to provide city residents with high-quality food products at affordable prices.
Approximately 150 tonnes of agricultural produce were delivered from Karmakshy District in nearly 70 trucks. The stalls offered a wide range of goods, including rice, meat, dairy products, fish, vegetables, livestock feed and other essential items. The products were sold at prices 10–15 percent lower than market rates.
The regional head, Murat Yergeshbayev, visited the fair and toured the trading area. He also met with agricultural producers, paying particular attention to the quality and prices of the products on offer.
The produce grown on the fertile land of Karmakshy, along with the abundance created through the hard work of local farmers, met the needs and expectations of city residents. The event continued with a concert programme, where performers delighted the audience and created a festive atmosphere.
It is also worth noting that the day before, Karmakshy District was named the “Best District” in agriculture, once again demonstrating its agricultural potential and recognising the dedicated work of its farmers.
