The work of teachers, who lay the foundation for the upbringing of the younger generation and the future of the nation, has always held a special place. Igniting the light of knowledge in students’ hearts, helping them define their dreams, and guiding them on their life journey is a noble mission that requires a great sense of responsibility. Teachers’ Day is a special occasion to appreciate this important work and express gratitude to outstanding professionals in the field of education. To mark this significant day, a festive event titled “A Teacher — the Beacon of the Nation” was held today at the Shamshat Tolepova House of Culture.
District Akim Zhandos Yerkinbek took part in the ceremony and congratulated the teaching community on their professional holiday.
“Dear teachers! Every stage of a child’s development, from preschool education to graduation, is important to us. Therefore, the main goal of our work in the field of education is to create favorable conditions for children. At the same time, as our President has emphasized, we must raise the younger generation to become citizens who love their country, value their native land and are hardworking. Today’s student is tomorrow’s qualified professional. And you are the ones who guide these children toward their future. May your work, through which you honorably carry this great title, always be highly valued. May you continue to achieve success and enjoy great respect!” the District Akim said.
During the celebration, a number of teachers who have made a significant contribution to the development of education and who provide the younger generation with quality education and meaningful upbringing were presented with Letters of Appreciation from the Akim of the region and the Akim of the district.
With the support of the District Akim, renowned singer Madina Saduakassova performed specially for the teaching community. She is a Honored Worker of Kazakhstan, recipient of the Order of “Құрмет”, laureate of the “Serper” Youth Award, Honorary Citizen of Kyzylorda, and a native of our region. Her beautiful performances added a special charm to the festive evening.
It is worth noting that our district continues to achieve high results in the field of education. In 2026, 903 students graduated from secondary schools, including 61 recipients of the “Altyn Belgi” distinction and 80 graduates who received certificates of excellence. The average score of the 808 graduates who took the Unified National Testing was 86.4 points.
On this occasion, we congratulate all teachers on their professional holiday — Teachers’ Day!
