Since Kazakhstan gained independence, the unit’s servicemen have repeatedly been deployed to maintain public order and security during major international and national events. These have included the OSCE Summit, the Asian Games, the World University Games, the EXPO international exhibition in Astana and the World Nomad Games.
The celebrations featured performances by soloists and the Song and Dance Ensemble of the National Guard of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
