On October 21, 2026, a grand opening of a modern chess classroom for primary school students took place at Secondary School No. 41 of the Education Department of Ust-Kamenogorsk.
At the beginning of the event, a small concert was organized, performed by schoolchildren.
The main goal of the event is to develop the intellectual abilities of the younger generation and popularize chess sports within the school.
At the ceremonial event, S. Kasenova, head of the Department of Preschool Education and Training and Primary Education of the East Kazakhstan Regional Scientific and Methodological Center for Informatization and Development of Education 'Orken' of the East Kazakhstan Region Education Department, delivered a welcoming speech. She expressed warm wishes to the students and the teaching staff, wishing the young chess players to achieve great heights in their studies and sports.
Among the school's guests was also A. Kudinov, executive director of the Chess Federation of Kazakhstan for the East Kazakhstan Region. He emphasized the importance of this initiative for the development of children's logical thinking and wished the school staff success.
