    ensuring the constitutional right of citizens to education and implementing a single state policy for preschool, primary, basic secondary and general secondary, technical and vocational, post-secondary, additional, special and specialized education in the territory of East Kazakhstan region, creating conditions for the harmonious development of the child’s personality by focusing on the legal rights provided by applicable laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Convention on the Rights of the Child.

    PRESS RELEASE OF the Republican debate tournament among schoolchildren

    From September 16 to 17 , 202 6 , the Education Department of the East Kazakhstan Region, together with the Republican Educational and Methodological Center for Additional Education of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, is holding a republican debate tournament among schoolchildren . The goal of the tournament is to foster civic engagement in students, developing their ability to think creatively and critically through analysis and public discussion of current situations observed in the country. 180 young debaters from 20 regions of the Republic of Kazakhstan will take part in the event. The tournament is held in the categories of "Kazakh League," "Russian League," and "English League." Tournament prize-winners will be awarded diplomas and valuable gifts, and all participants will receive certificates. We invite media representatives interested in covering the event on September 16 - 17, 2026, to the children 's educational and recreational center "Daryn" of the East Kazakhstan Scientific and Methodological Center for the Development of Giftedness and Additional Education "Daryn," located in Gorn aya Ulbink a of the Glubokoye District.     An interactive lesson “Nauryz: the code of history”

    On March 17, 2026, at 10.00 a.m., as part of marking commemorative events, Örken East Kazakhstan Regional Scientific and Methodological Center for Informatization and Education Development of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region is holding an interactive lesson in a digital format on the topic “Nauryz: the code of history”. The event is organized for 7th graders of schools across the region. The goal of the lesson is to deepen students’ understanding about Nauryz holiday, enhance their cognitive and intellectual development, promote national cultural values, foster curiosity and creativity, and also demonstrate the practical application of artificial intelligence technologies in the educational process. The interactive lesson will be delivered by Aliya S. Abeldinova, a teacher of history, an expert teacher with 14 years of teaching experience, and Karlygash A. Akhmetkaliyeva, a teacher of extended education at School-Center for Supplementary Education No.19 of Education Department of Ust-Kamenogorsk city of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region.
