Serikov Rollan
Head of apparatus of Tourism and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan
Biography
Rollan Serikov was born in 1979 and holds a PhD.
He graduated from the Shakarim State University of Semipalatinsk and the T. Ryskulov Kazakh Economic University (Narxoz University).
Throughout his career, he has worked in higher education as a lecturer, head of department, and director of a department.
From 2017 to 2020, he served as Head of the Department for Test Organization and Administration at the National Testing Center under the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Between 2021 and 2023, he held leadership positions at the Academy of Physical Education and Mass Sports (Astana) and the Qazaq Kuresi Association.
He also engaged in entrepreneurial activities in sports, construction, real estate management, and other fields.
From 2023 to 2024, he was the Deputy Chair of the Committee for Sports and Physical Culture under the Ministry of Tourism and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
He has been awarded the badge “Honorary Worker of Education” (2019), the medal “People’s Gratitude” (2020), and a Presidential Letter of Appreciation (2024).
Author of approximately 50 scientific publications.
