Kusmanov Adil

Adil Kusmanov was born on January 25, 1994, in the East Kazakhstan Region.

He graduated from Nazarbayev University with a degree in Mathematics with an advanced focus on Economics. Under the international Bolashak scholarship programme, he obtained a Master’s degree in Mathematical Modelling and Scientific Computing from the University of Oxford. He is also a member of the Presidential Youth Personnel Reserve.

He has completed international leadership programmes in the fields of macroeconomics, public administration, leadership, economic development, and human capital development.

Over the years, he worked as a consultant, deputy head, and head of the expert-analytical group at the Center for Analysis and Monitoring of Socio-Economic Reforms under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

From 2023 to 2024, he served as Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of the Economic Research Institute under the Ministry of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Since November 2024, he has served as Chairman of the Management Board of the Center for International Programs under the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

He is also a member of the Council on Youth Policy under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Expert Club under the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

He has been awarded the medal “Eren Enbegi Ushin” (“For Distinguished Labour”), as well as letters of appreciation from the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the leadership of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

He is fluent in Kazakh, Russian, English, and Turkish.
