Tuleuov Olzhas

Olzhas Tuleuov was born in 1990 in the Karaganda region. He graduated from the Higher School of Economics of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, as well as the Master's degree of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan. He completed internships and advanced training courses at the Solbridge Business School of Wusong University (Republic of Korea), at the Central Bank of Russia, national banks of the Czech Republic and Switzerland, as well as at the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP).

He started his career in 2013 in the municipal utilities of Balkhash, Karaganda region. In 2013-2015, he worked as a business analyst at the Applied Economic Research Centre (AERC).

From 2015 to 2018 - trainee, presenter, Chief Analyst in the Department of Research, Strategic Analysis and Statistics of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Senior Manager of the Research and Knowledge Management Sector of the National Welfare Fund "Samruk-Kazyna".

From 2018 to 2020 - Deputy Director, Managing Director of AERC, Vice President of JSC "Center for Workforce Development" under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

From 2020-2022 - Advisor to the Chairman of the National Bank of Ukraine.

He has teaching experience in the Master's program and the training center of the National Bank, the master's program of Nazarbayev University and the Kazakhstan branch of Lomonosov Moscow State University. Author of a dozen scientific and journalistic articles. Since February 2020, he has been a permanent member of the Center for Analysis and Monitoring of Socio-Economic Reforms under the Administration of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

On April 5, 2022, by order of the Head of State, Olzhas Tuleuov was appointed Deputy Chairman of the Agency for Strategic Planning and Reforms of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
