Biography
Aigul Shaimova was born on January 12, 1979 in Akmola region. In 1999 graduated the Gumilyov Eurasian University with outstanding honors, in 2004 - the Academy of Financial Police, in 2018 - the Russian Academy of National Economy and Public Administration under the President of the Russian Federation.
2000-2002 - Junior Inspector, Inspector, Senior Inspector for particularly important cases of the Department of Legal Support and International Relations of the Financial Police Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Over the years, held different positions including the Head of the Legal Expertise Department of the Legal Support and International Cooperation Department of the Financial Police Agency, Deputy Head of the Legal Support and International Cooperation Department, Senior Assistant to the Prosecutor General - Head of the Center for Strategic Analysis of the Information and Analytical Department of the Office of the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Deputy Head of the Situational Center of the Security Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
2014-2015 - Head of Staff of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Civil Service Affairs and Anti-Corruption.
From January 11 to September 28, 2016 - Vice Minister for Civil Service Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
From September 28, 2016, to July 8, 2019 - Deputy Chairman of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Civil Service Affairs and Anti-Corruption.
From July 2019 to January 2022 - Vice Minister of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
For several years Aigul Shaimova was the co-chair of the working group of the Eurasian Group on Combating Money Laundering and Financing of Terrorism.
Awards: Order "Danq" II degree, medal "Eren enbegi ushin", anniversary and departmental medals.
