Biography
Ms. Abylkassymova was born in Almaty on August 1, 1978.
Madina Abylkassymova received her first degree in Economics from the Kazakh State Academy of Management. She holds MIA degree in Economic Policy Management from Columbia University and a Master of Public Administration from Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government.
Madina Abylkassymova has served as Chairperson of the Agency for Regulation and Development of the Financial Market of the Republic of Kazakhstan since January 2020, when the financial regulatory authority was established.
She was born on 1 August 1978 in Almaty, Kazakhstan.
Madina Abylkassymova graduated from the Kazakh State Academy of Management. She holds a Master’s degree in International Affairs from Columbia University and a Master of Public Administration from the Harvard Kennedy School.
Prior to her appointment as Chairperson of the Agency, she served as Deputy Chairperson of the National Bank of Kazakhstan. Earlier in her career, she held positions at the Center for Strategic Research and Analysis under the Presidential Administration and worked in the Office of the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan.
