
Biography
Zhanna Askarova was born on October 20, 1971 in the city of Karaganda, Karaganda region. In 1995, she graduated from East Kazakhstan state University with a degree in chemistry, and was awarded an academic bachelor's degree in chemistry. In 2001, she graduated from East Kazakhstan state University as a teacher of the Kazakh language and literature in schools with non-Kazakh language of instruction.
The total work experience is more than 30 years. Public service experience – 11 years. She started her career in August 1995 as a chemistry teacher at secondary school No. 10 in Zyryanovsk. From September 1997 to August 1999, she worked as a teacher of the Kazakh language at secondary school No. 10 in Zyryanovsk. From August 1999 to January 2002, he was a teacher of the Kazakh language at secondary school No. 8 in Zyryanovsk. From January 2002 to September 2004-teacher of the Kazakh language at secondary school No. 9 in Zyryanovsk. From September 2004 to March 2009, she held the position of head teacher for educational work at secondary school No. 9 in Zyryanovsk. From April 2009 to June 2017, she held the position of head of the Department of internal policy, culture and language development of the Altai region. From June 2017 to December 2019, she served as Deputy akim of the Altai region. From December 2019 to July 2020, she worked as the head of the Secretariat of the Assembly of peoples of the East Kazakhstan region. From July to November 2020, she served as the mayor of the city of Altai. From December 02, 2020, by order of the district akim, she was appointed Deputy akim of the Altai district.
