Biography
Alzhan Abdrakhmanovich Nurbekov was born in the South Kazakhstan Region on December 21, 1978. He graduated from the Kazakh State Law University with a degree in Law.
He holds the rank of Senior Justice Adviser.
He started his career in the Prosecutor’s Office in 2000 as the Prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office in Shymkent city.
From 2001 to 2004, he served as the Prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of Shymkent city and the Assistant Prosecutor of Shymkent city.
From 2004 to 2006, he worked as the Prosecutor of the Department of the Prosecutor’s Office of Astana city, Head of the Department of the Prosecutor’s Office of the “Saryarka” district of Astana city.
From 2006 to 2017, he served as the Prosecutor of the Department, Senior Prosecutor of the Department, Head of the Department, Deputy Head of the International Cooperation Department of the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Senior Assistant of the Prosecutor General for Special Assignments.
From 2017 to 2019, he attended training at the Law Enforcement Academy under the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
From 2019 to 2023, he served as the Senior Assistant of the Prosecutor General for Special Assignments in the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Since January 2023, he has been appointed the Head of the Strategic Development Department of the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
