Biography
Okpenov Temirzhan Kanatovich was born on November 16, 1985 in Semey, East Kazakhstan region. Has a university degree. In 2007, he graduated from Semipalatinsk Shakarim State University with a degree in Finance, and in 2018 from the Kazakh Humanitarian and Legal Innovation University with a degree in Jurisprudence.
He started his career in 2007 in the banking sector. Over the years, he worked as a manager and specialist at Kazkommertsbank JSC, Eurasian Bank JSC, Alliance Bank JSC, Temirbank JSC. He held senior positions in the departments of lending to small and medium-sized businesses and working with corporate clients.
From 2013 to 2018, he worked at Alfa-Bank JSC, where he worked his way up from chief specialist to head of the medium-sized business department. In 2019-2022, he held senior positions at Jusan Bank JSC, including Deputy Director for Small and Medium-sized Businesses, Deputy Director for Operations and Sales Director.
In 2023-2024, he headed the municipal state institution Spartak Stadium in Semey. In 2024, he worked in the Department of Public Procurement of the Abai region, where he held the positions of secretary and Chief Specialist of the Department of Public Procurement Procedures.
Since March 2025, he has held the position of Deputy Head of the Department of Entrepreneurship in Semey, Abai region.
On June 2, 2026, he was appointed head of the Department of Entrepreneurship in Semey, Abai region.
