Zhanabayev Maxat

He holds personal responsibility for the development of tourism, food security, trade, and the service sector. His duties include the implementation of state programs in tourism, overseeing the timely provision of public services in accordance with established standards and regulations, and liaising with trade facilities to stabilize prices of socially significant food products. He also ensures the expansion of a competitive environment for food product sellers (such as organizing fairs and increasing the number of trade outlets) and creates favorable conditions for agricultural producers to access the consumer market.

Additionally, he carries out activities aimed at fostering an anti-corruption culture, mitigating corruption risks among department employees, and monitors the execution of development plans by subordinate enterprises.

He began his professional career in 2014 as Chief Specialist of the Accounting and Reporting Sector in the Department of Economics and Finance of the city of Shymkent. Over the years, he has held positions such as Chief Specialist of the Department of Economics and Finance of Shymkent, Chief Expert at the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Head of the State Services Development Department at the Ministry of Agriculture, Deputy Head of the Department of International Cooperation and Investment Attraction at the Ministry of Agriculture, as well as various roles within the apparatus of the Akim of Astana.

Currently, he serves as Deputy Head of the Department for Investment and Entrepreneurship Development.
