Birzhanov Yerzhan Yerikuly

Yerzhan Birzhanov was born in 1979 in the North Kazakhstan region.

Higher education, in 1999 he graduated from the North Kazakhstan University named after M. Kozybayev with a degree in Economics and Management.

In 2005, he graduated from the North Kazakhstan Law Academy with a degree in Jurisprudence.

In 2018, he received a Master's degree in Business Administration from M.S. Narikbayev KAZGUU University.

In 2020, he received a Master's degree in Business Administration from the University of Business and International Studies (UBIS) (Switzerland).

1999: Started his career as a senior tax inspector of the local taxes sector of the Tax Committee for the North Kazakhstan region.

1999 – 2004 : Worked in the Tax Committee for the West Kazakhstan Region.

2004 – 2014 : Held senior positions in the structure of the Ministry of Finance of Kazakhstan.

March – November 2014 : Expert of the Department of Socio-Economic Monitoring of the Administration of the President of Kazakhstan.

2014 – 2017 : Director of the Department of Development and Modernisation of the State Revenue Committee of the Ministry of Finance .

January – March 2017 : Deputy Chairman of the Board of JSC “ Republican Centre ‘Kazimpex’”.

2017 – 2021 : Served in senior positions in the national security agencies of Kazakhstan.

2021 – 2022 : Vice-Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population.

Since July 2022 : Vice Minister of Finance of Kazakhstan.
