Kengbeil Dauren Maratuly

Kengbeil Dauren graduated with honors in 2005 from the Eurasian National University named after L.N. Gumilyov, specialising in state institution management. In 2009, he earned a Master of Management with a focus on “Management” from Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov (Bolashak program).

Began his career in 2005 in the Ministry of Finance of Kazakhstan, holding various positions in the Treasury Committee until December 2009.

2009–2017: Chief Expert, Head of the Sub-Department of Concession Projects and later Head of the Sub-Department of Government Securities, Guarantees, and Warranties in the Department of State Borrowing.

2017–2019: Deputy Director of the State Borrowing Department of the Ministry of Finance.

2019–2021: Director of the Department of State Borrowing.

Since March 2021: Vice Minister of Finance of Kazakhstan.

Dauren Kengbeil is the Alternate Governor for the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Boards of Governors of the International Monetary Fund, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, the Asian Development Bank and the Islamic Development Bank.

Awarded numerous state and ministerial awards.
