    Current Issues of Corruption Prevention Discussed Among Civil Servants of the Almaty Regional Maslikhat

    Current issues of corruption prevention were discussed among civil servants of the apparatus of the Almaty Regional Maslikhat. During the event, participants exchanged open views and comprehensively considered ways to improve work in this area.

    The meeting included a detailed review of the Concept of Anti-Corruption Policy of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2022–2026, with particular attention given to its key priorities and implementation mechanisms. The main areas of anti-corruption policy were also outlined, along with discussions on effective and modern approaches to the development of policy documents.

    In his speech, Head of the Apparatus of the Almaty Regional Maslikhat Aslan Abdikarimov noted that corruption prevention is a responsibility not only of government bodies but also of society as a whole. He emphasized that Kazakhstan’s anti-corruption policy should be continuously improved, taking into account public needs, national practices, and advanced international experience.

    He also highlighted the importance of strengthening joint efforts in this area, increasing transparency and accountability, and enhancing the responsibility of civil servants.
