    The Standing Commissions held a joint meeting

    The joint meeting of the Standing Commissions of the Almaty Regional Maslikhat focused on the implementation of state programs, the construction of social infrastructure, and regional economic development.

    Deputies reviewed progress on major school renovations, the construction of healthcare facilities, the development of industrial zones, state architectural and construction control, tourism, and support for small and medium-sized enterprises.

    According to the Regional Education Department, 91 schools are scheduled for major renovation by 2027. This year, 20 schools were included in the program, with nine already completed.

    The Regional Construction Department reported that two of four healthcare facilities funded this year have been completed, while the remaining two are expected to open by the end of July.

    Participants also received updates on the development of industrial infrastructure, construction quality control, tourism development, and government support measures for entrepreneurs.

    At the conclusion of the meeting, deputies emphasized that the implementation of all reviewed projects remains under the continuous oversight of the Almaty Regional Maslikhat and is essential to the region’s sustainable socio-economic development.
