Common mistakes when checking the status of an application for out-of-court bankruptcy

Have you filed for out-of-court bankruptcy, but you still haven't received an SMS from 1414?

Here's what's important to know:

The authorized body reviews the application within 15 working days.

The SMS notification is sent only to the phone number listed in the Database of Mobile Citizens (BMG).

If the number is outdated or not registered, the SMS will simply not reach you.

What to do if there is no SMS?:
1. Check the relevance of the number in BMG (this can be done on eGov.kz ).
2. Look at the lists of citizens on the e-government portal eGov.kz (service "Application of out-of-court bankruptcy procedure").
There are published lists of citizens in respect of whom:
- the procedure has been applied (the application has been approved, the procedure has begun);
- the procedure was stopped;
- the procedure has been completed (the citizen has been declared bankrupt).
If you are not on any of the lists, the application is most likely rejected. The reason for the refusal can be viewed in the eGov / Tazalau (Qoldau) personal account. You can reapply after 3 months.
