Nurken Kanatovich Nuratov, Head of the Sports Department of the Karaganda region, congratulated the man whose name is inscribed in gold letters in the history of Kazakhstani sports on the state award. A man who gave not just years of his life to the struggle, but his whole soul, talent and inexhaustible energy. Congratulations to our dear and deeply respected Sarzhan Bektemirovich Zhaksybekov!
Having gone through a bright path from a young wrestler on the carpet of his native Karaganda, the champion of the republic and the master of sports of the USSR, he found his true calling in coaching. It was thanks to his pedagogical gift, steely will and fatherly care that women's wrestling in Kazakhstan reached the world and Olympic levels.
It is not for nothing that on the eve of the Republic Day Sarzhan Bektemirovich was awarded a high state award - the Order of "Kurmet". This is a sign of recognition of the whole country, gratitude for every victory, for every raised flag of Kazakhstan.
