Debit transactions on accounts are suspended not because of the desk audit itself, but because the taxpayer failed to respond to a notification.
State revenue authorities regularly conduct desk audits. Currently, these audits are based on information from second-tier banks—specifically regarding receipts via POS terminals and mobile transfers. If this information does not align with the data provided in tax filings, a notification is sent to the taxpayer.
The notifications were sent in September. A period of 30 business days (45 calendar days) from the date the notification is delivered to the taxpayer’s account is allowed for a response. If the taxpayer fails to respond within this timeframe, outgoing transactions on their accounts will be suspended.
How to comply with the notice (choose one of the following methods):
• submit supplementary tax returns and pay the taxes;
• or provide an explanation regarding the reasons for the discrepancies.
As soon as the taxpayer responds to the notice, the suspension is lifted and the accounts become operational again. You can review the notice and submit a response through your taxpayer personal account.
