The East Kazakhstan Regional Scientific and Methodological Center for Informatization and Educational Development "Erken" held a regional workshop on "Peculiarities of working with children with autism spectrum disorders (ASD)" for managers on October 28, 2026 at the KSU "Cabinet of Psychological and Pedagogical Correction of Zaisansky district". and Teachers of the Kppk of special educators (defectologist, speech therapist), teaching Assistants of general educational organizations of the Zaisansky district.
The event was attended by Deputy Akim of the Zaisan district E. N.E. Korabaev, representatives of the district department of education, the Adilet party, the social protection and healthcare sector of the district.
Within the framework of the seminar, an early support room was opened for children aged 0-3 years on the basis of the Zaysan district checkpoint.
During the workshop, issues of correctional and developmental support for children with ASD, early detection of developmental disorders, assessment of special educational needs, application of practical methods of correctional work, as well as organization of interdepartmental interaction of specialists were considered.
