The international fashion week, World Designers Fashion Week Astana 2026, was held in Astana from October 23 to 26. Designers and fashion industry representatives from 40 countries participated in the event.
At the initiative of the Embassy, Morocco presented an exclusive collection at World Designers Fashion Week Astana that celebrated the richness of Morocco's artistic heritage, the skill of its artisans, and the dialogue between cultures.
The event's main headliner was renowned Moroccan designer and international haute couture expert Iman Belmkaddem. In Astana, Iman Belmkaddem presented an exclusive collection of Moroccan national costumes based on the famous traditional caftans, in the designer's signature style – a combination of Moroccan splendor and Scandinavian simplicity.
Moroccan designer Iman Belmkaddem's participation in World Designers Fashion Week Astana will strengthen the close ties between the creative communities of Morocco and Kazakhstan.
