Astana, October 26, 2026 – A delegation of Argentine companies has concluded its working visit to Kazakhstan, which took place on October 20–23 with the support of the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Federative Republic of Brazil.
The delegation included Santiago De Luca, Honorary Consul of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Argentina and President of the Kazakhstan-Argentina Chamber of Commerce, as well as representatives of Clear Petroleum S.A., CPC S.A., and DFM Consultores S.A.
On October 22, the Argentine delegation participated in the Kazakhstan Global Investment Roundtable (KGIR-2026) in Shymkent, which focused on attracting foreign investment, promoting industrial cooperation, and expanding international economic ties.
As part of the event, meetings were held with Ardak Zebeshev, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and Sultangali Kinzhaqulov, Chairman of the Management Board of KAZAKH INVEST National Company JSC. The parties discussed prospects for expanding Kazakhstan-Argentina trade, economic, and investment relations; opportunities for implementing joint projects; mechanisms for supporting foreign investors; and the establishment of direct contacts between the business communities of the two countries.
The Argentine delegation also met with Nuralhan Kusherov, Akim (Governor) of Turkistan Region. The discussions focused on prospects for developing trade, economic, and investment cooperation, opportunities for implementing joint projects, and establishing direct business contacts with enterprises in the region.
On October 23, a meeting took place in Astana between the Argentine delegation and representatives of the Kazakh company QazEmbryo. The parties discussed prospects for cooperation with Argentine partners in agriculture and reproductive biotechnology, including opportunities for technology transfer, the exchange of professional expertise, and the development of partnerships.
The meetings helped strengthen direct business contacts, identify promising areas for cooperation, and outline further steps toward developing practical cooperation between Kazakhstan and Argentina.
