Brasília, 22 September 2026 – A meeting between Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Federative Republic of Brazil Bolat Nussupov and National Secretary for Geology, Mining and Mineral Transformation Anderson Barreto Arruda was held at the Ministry of Mines and Energy of Brazil.
During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for the development of Kazakhstan-Brazil cooperation in the mining sector, including possible areas of interaction in the field of mineral resources.
Particular attention was paid to developing contacts between the relevant government agencies and sectoral organizations of the two countries.
Ambassador Bolat Nussupov briefed the Brazilian side on Kazakhstan’s current investment projects in the mining sector. Information materials on the respective projects were provided to the Brazilian side for further review.
Following the meeting, the parties expressed their interest in continuing the working dialogue and exploring opportunities for mutually beneficial cooperation between Kazakhstan and Brazil.
