In the Arshaly District, servicemen of Military Unit 6636 of the National Guard of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, together with personnel of the Department of the Penal Enforcement System, prevented an attempt to deliver a prohibited substance onto the premises of a penal institution.
During the inspection of a Gazelle vehicle driven by citizen G., a service dog named Aiza indicated the possible presence of prohibited contents in the area of the right side rear-view mirror.
A thorough inspection revealed a concealed package inside the mirror housing containing a green substance with a distinctive odour.
The inspection team included Corporal Timur Kozhabekov and canine handler Junior Sergeant Bereke Donenbay. Thanks to their coordinated actions, the suspicious package was promptly detected and seized.
An investigation into the incident is currently underway. The circumstances of the incident and the persons involved in the offense are being established. The situation remains under the control of the competent authorities.
The National Guard, together with the Department of the Penal Enforcement System, regularly takes measures to prevent attempts to deliver prohibited substances and other items onto restricted facilities.
