On July 2, 2020, the Law of Kazakhstan «On introducing amendments and additions to the Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan «On taxes and other obligatory payments to the budget» (Tax code) and the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan «On the introduction into the action of the Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan «On taxes and other obligatory payments to the budget» (Tax code), providing exemption from payment of taxes and obligatory deductions from the Wage fund for the period from April, 1 to October, 1 2020.
In addition, on July 3, 2020, the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan «On introducing amendments and additions to certain legislative acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the issues of foreign currency mortgages, improvement of regulation of participants of the payment services market, universal declaration of income and restoration of economic growth» was adopted, which provides for the exemption of 67 commercial TV and radio channels from payment for analog and terrestrial digital broadcasting for the period from July,1 to December 31, 2020.
Along with that, in the framework of the « The national plan of development of the sphere of information for 2020-2022 years» approved by the Government Decree No. 183, dated April, 7, 2020 provides support measures to create favorable conditions for the development and competitiveness of the domestic media, the functioning and further development of the industry.
