    Question

What measures are being taken to increase the participation of young people in the public administration system?

    Answer

To form a new wave of effective managers and a system of effective social elevators for the new generation of the country, on behalf of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the presidential youth personnel reserve was formed, which included 300 specialists out of 13 thousand applicants (102 representatives from the private sector, 98 representatives of the quasi-public sector and 96 civil servants), many of whom have already been appointed to senior positions in various fields.

At the same time, in May of this year, the Head of State signed amendments to the Constitutional Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Amendments to the Constitutional Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Elections in the Republic of Kazakhstan", according to which a 30% quota is introduced for young people (up to 29 years old) and women on electoral lists. This measure will increase the active participation of young people and women in the socio-political processes of the country.
