Changing the route or schedule of a bus in the city of Almaty is considered only on the basis of an official request. Review is possible after the submission of a request and an analysis of the traffic situation. To do this, it is necessary to submit an application to the municipal state institution "Department of Road Traffic Organization and Passenger Transport of the City of Almaty" through the e-Otinish information system or in writing to the department's office at the address: 4 Republic Square, Bostandyk District, Almaty, phone: +7 7272 25 12 81, specifying the proposed change to the route or schedule, as well as describing the reason (for example, high passenger traffic, inconvenient service intervals, or lack of transport connections).

After the request is registered, department specialists conduct an on-site survey, analyze passenger traffic, population size, and the availability of road infrastructure, and also assess compliance with road safety requirements.

If the change to the route or schedule is justified, a new route scheme and timetable are developed, after which the route may be adjusted and included in the register of socially significant routes.

The processing time for a request is up to 15 working days, and if necessary, it may be extended to up to two months.
