PARTICIPATION IN THE "UNIFIED REPORTING DAY" On September 24, 2026, the "Unified Reporting Day" was held in the building of the Akimat of the West Kazakhstan region with the participation of representatives of control and supervisory authorities and the business community. The event was attended by Deputy Head of the Department of State Revenues for the West Kazakhstan region Algaziev Ermek Algazievich . During the meeting, current issues of state control and supervision were considered, the results of the work of state bodies were discussed, as well as issues of interaction with business entities. Special attention was paid to ensuring an open dialogue between state bodies and the business community, improving the legal literacy of entrepreneurs, and preventing violations of legislation. Such meetings contribute to constructive interaction between state bodies and business, and also allow for prompt discussion of current issues and finding effective ways to resolve them.
Regional Forum Held in West Kazakhstan Region A regional forum titled “Reforms of Legislation on Rehabilitation and Bankruptcy in Kazakhstan and Bordering Jurisdictions of Neighboring Countries” was held in Uralsk. Representatives of the State Revenue Committee took part in the forum and spoke about measures being taken to improve legislation in the field of rehabilitation and bankruptcy, while emphasizing the need for further development of self-regulation mechanisms in this area. During the event, judges, rehabilitation and bankruptcy administrators, as well as invited guests from the Republic of Uzbekistan, discussed a range of topical issues, including the role of administrators and financial managers in bankruptcy proceedings, the identification of signs of deliberate bankruptcy, and other aspects of the application of the legislation. The forum provided a platform for exchanging experience and discussing current issues related to the improvement of legislation and law enforcement practices in the field of rehabilitation and bankruptcy.
ROUND TABLE WITH PARTICIPANTS OF FOREIGN ECONOMIC ACTIVITY On August 20 , 2026 , a round table with the participation of representatives of foreign economic activity was held at the Department of State Revenue for the West Kazakhstan region under the chairmanship of Deputy Head of the Department of State Revenue of the West Kazakhstan region Algaziev Ermek . The main topic of the meeting was the procedure for filling out the goods declaration form . During the event , the Department 's staff explained the requirements of the Instructions approved by the Decision of the Customs Union Commission No. 257 dated May 20 , 2010 , regarding the mandatory indication in column 31 of information about the manufacturer , trademark , model , article and technical characteristics of the goods . It is noted that incomplete or incorrect filling in of information may create risks of incorrect determination of the HS code and underestimation of the customs value of goods . The participants also discussed problematic issues arising during customs clearance and made suggestions for improving the functionality of the KEDEN information system . An open dialogue with the participants of foreign economic activity allows us to quickly identify emerging issues , improve customs administration and improve the quality of interaction between business and government agencies .
W Kazakhstan regional communications service held briefing on VAT changes in 2026 Today, the regional communications service of the West Kazakhstan region held a briefing on the amendments to the tax code of 2026 regarding Value Added Tax (VAT). The briefing was attended by Deputy Head of the state revenue department for the West Kazakhstan region Kunchayev Zhunus Rakhimovich and head of the Department of indirect taxes administration of the Department Esengaliyev Sungat Zheksenbayevich. During the event, the speakers spoke in detail about the main changes in the tax code regarding VAT, which came into force on January 1, 2026. In particular, the rates of value added tax, changes in the threshold for VAT registration, the procedure for calculating and paying taxes, as well as the peculiarities of taxation in relation to certain industries were explained. In addition, the procedure for issuing electronic invoices, taxpayer obligations and the practical application of new requirements were widely discussed. At the end of the briefing, representatives of the media asked their questions and received detailed answers on the new norms of the current tax legislation. The state Revenue Department of the West Kazakhstan region will continue its regular information and explanatory work in order to timely inform taxpayers about changes in legislation and promote the correct application of new norms.
Kanat Baltabekov , Head of the State Duma for the West Kazakhstan region , visited the territorial divisions Kanat Zholtaevich Baltabekov , Head of the State Revenue Department for the West Kazakhstan region , paid working visits to the State Revenue Departments for Akzhaiksky , Zhangalinsky , Kaztalov and Bokeyordinsky districts .
