Muktaganova Leyla Vakhidovna

Head of Strategic Planning Department, Economics and Budget Planning Department

She was born on May 11, 1963 in the village of Bakanas, Balkhash district, Alma-Ata region, Kazakh by nationality.

In 1985 she graduated from the Alma-Ata Institute of National Economy with a degree in Finance and Credit, and qualified as an economist.

She began her career on August 1, 1985, as the chief economist of the East Kazakhstan Regional Financial Department. For 19.5 years she worked in various departments of financial management.

In connection with the transfer of budget planning functions to the Department of Economics and Budget Planning, she was transferred from January 10, 2005 to the Chief Economist of the Department of Economics and Budget Planning of the East Kazakhstan Region. On February 3, 2010, she was appointed to the position of Head of the Department of Budget Planning of the Branches of the Social Sphere of Economic Management and Budget Planning of the East Kazakhstan Region.

From August 14, 2012 to the present, she is the head of the strategic planning department.
