Sultanov Azat Sirazhiddinovych

Azat Sultanov was born in 1984 in Almaty. Graduated from the Kazakh State Law Academy, Kazakh Humanitarian Law University, Kazakh National Agrarian Research University.

He started his career in 2006 as a lawyer in a private company.

In 2007-2010 . — Leading specialist, expert of the Legal Department of the State Property and Privatization Committee of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In 2010, he was the chief expert of the Department of Innovation Policy and Higher Education in the Agro-industrial Complex of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

2010-2012 — Assistant to the Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

From 2012 to 2014 — Deputy Director of the Department of Personnel and Administrative Support of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In 2014-2015 — Deputy Director, Director of the Department of Investment Policy and Financial Instruments of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In 2015-2016 . — Director of the Department of International Cooperation and Economic Integration of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

2016-2017 — Deputy Director of the Department of Food Safety of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In 2017-2018 — Director of the Department of Scientific, Technological and Technical Policy of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

2018-2021 — Director of the Department of Production and Processing of Crop Products of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

From 2021 to 2023 he held the position of Director of the Agriculture Department of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Since October 2023, he has been appointed Vice Minister of Agriculture.
