Career

Kuzenbayev Yermek Bakytovich was born on November 6, 1985, in the Turkestan Region. In 2007, he graduated from Khoja Akhmet Yassawi International Kazakh-Turkish University with a degree in State and Local Administration. He began his career in public administration and social and educational policy in 2010 at the Ministry of Economy and Budget Planning of the Republic of Kazakhstan as an Expert in the Education and Science Development Division of the Social Sphere Development Department. From 2010 to 2013, he held various expert and leadership positions at the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade, as well as the Ministry of Economy and Budget Planning of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Specifically, he worked as Chief Expert of the Social Policy Division, Head of the Division for the Development of Education, Science, Culture, Sports, and Tourism, and Head of the Education, Science, Culture, Tourism, and Sports Development Division. In 2014, he continued his professional activity in the technical and vocational education system. He worked as Chief Manager of the Project Management Department at NJSC Holding Kasipkor, and in 2018, he headed APEC PetroTechnic Higher College LLC in Atyrau. From 2018 to 2020, he held executive positions at NJSC Holding Kasipkor, including Acting Deputy Chairman of the Management Board and Acting Chairman of the Management Board. From 2020 to 2023, he continued his work at NJSC Talap, serving as President and Vice President of the organization. During this period, he took an active part in developing the technical and vocational education system and implementing projects in skilled workforce training. In 2023–2024, he worked as an Educational Programs Manager at AITAS KZ JSC, held executive positions in the non-profit foundations Barshaga Mumkindik and Foundation for Sustainable Development of Education, and headed the Zhana Mumkindik Public Foundation. In 2024, he served as Chairman of the Management Board of NPO UMIT FUND and held an executive position at NPO Alem school. Starting in 2025, he worked at Workforce Development Center JSC as a Freelance Methodologist (Middle) in the Department for the Functioning of National Qualifications System Elements. He was appointed Deputy Head of the Education Department of the Kostanay Region Akimat.
