Ardak Kurmashevich Begatarov was born on August 20, 1983, in the East Kazakhstan Region.
In 2005, he graduated from the Semipalatinsk State Pedagogical Institute with a degree in History and Geography.
He began his career in the field of education in 2005 as a History teacher at Kaynar College in the city of Semey. Over his years at the educational institution, he held various positions, consistently gaining experience in both the educational and administrative sectors.
From 2011 to 2013, he worked at the Republican Scientific and Methodological Center for the Development of Technical and Vocational Education and Qualification Assignment (RSE on the REM) under the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
From 2013 to 2016, he served as Chief Expert of the Department of Technical and Vocational Education of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
From 2016 to 2017, he worked at the branch of the Center for Pedagogical Measurements of the Autonomous Educational Organization (AEO) "Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools."
Between 2017 and 2021, he held a number of leadership positions within the Department of Educational and Scientific Activities and International Cooperation of the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
From 2021 to 2024, he worked at the "Talap" National Academy of Sciences (JSC), where he oversaw the development of the WorldSkills movement in Kazakhstan.
From 2024, he served as Deputy Head of the Education Department of the Akimat of Kostanay Region.
By decree of the Akim of Kostanay Region, on June 18, 2026, he was appointed Head of the Education Department of the Akimat of Kostanay Region.
