Lavrenov Vassiliy Sergeyevich

Vassiliy Sergeyevich Lavrenov born on November 17, 1979. Graduated with honors from the Kazakh State Law Academy in 2000. In 2004, completed the International Law Program of the Duke University School of Law and Kyushu University in Japan.

Career:

Started his professional career in 1999 as a legal assistant at “Title” Legal Agency LLP. Later worked as a lawyer at “GRATA” Law Firm LLP.

Legal advisor at the Legal Department of NAC “Kazatomprom” JSC (2001–2002);

Partner at “GRATA” Law Firm LLP (2002–2005);

Head of Legal Service – Chief Legal Advisor of the Kazakhstan branch of “Bateman Kazakhstan Oil and Gas Company B.V.” (2005–2007);

Director of Legal Service in the Republic of Kazakhstan for the oilfield services company “Integra Management” CJSC (Kazakhstan Representative Office, 2007–2008);

Director of the Legal Department – General Counsel of the “Eastcomtrans” Group of Companies (2008–2017);

Senior Partner – Consultant at Greenline Services Ltd (2019–2022);

Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of “KazMunayGas” NC JSC (2022–2025);

Since May 23, 2025, by decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, appointed Deputy Chairman of the Atomic Energy Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
