Biography
Yerlan Yestek was born on September 5, 1982, in the Kostanay region.
He graduated from Arkalyk State Pedagogical Institute in 2003, Shymkent University in 2016, and completed his master’s degree at the Kazakh Academy of Sport and Tourism in 2017.
He began his career in 2001 as a coach-instructor. Previously, he held the position of Director General of the Qazaq Kuresi Association.
He is a two-time World and Asian Champion in Qazaq Kuresi, a Master of Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Judo, and an International Master of Sports in Qazaq Kuresi, a national category referee. As a coach, he has trained 9 World Champions, 5 Asian Champions, and more than 30 Masters of Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Qazaq Kuresi.
