Biography
Zhanibek Nurmakhanovich Karataev was born in 1990 in the Almaty region.
He graduated from Al-Farabi Kazakh National University in 2011, T. Ryskulov Kazakh University of Economics in 2013, and Turan University in 2017.
He started his career in 2011-2013 as a specialist of the technical support group of the state municipal organization "Almaty zher".
From 2013 to 2014, he worked as an engineer of Almaty Information Systems Center LLP.
From 2014 to 2016 - Chief Specialist of the Department of employment and social programs of Almaty, from 2016 to 2019-head of the Department.
In 2019-2021, head of the Department of social welfare of Almaty, in 2021-2022, acting deputy head.
From 2022 to 2023, he worked as the Chief Inspector of the unified Personnel Management Service of the Office of the Akim of Almaty region.
From 2023 to 2024, he worked as the Chief Inspector of the Department of organizational and inspection work of the Office of the Akim of Almaty region.
Since May 2024, he has been holding the post of head of the Office of the mayor of Alatau.
