Zhazykbaev Shaikh-Hasan Satarkululy
Deputy Minister of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan on weapons and military equipment
Biography
Born on September 20, 1976 in the village of Kylyshbay, (formerly Karl Marx), Moyynkum district, Zhambyl region.
In 1999 he graduated with honors from the Penza Higher Artillery Engineering School, in 2013 from the National Defense University, in 2019 from the Military Academy of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
He was awarded the “Dank” and “Aibyn” orders of the 2nd degree, departmental awards and anniversary medals.
In the Armed Forces of Kazakhstan, he worked his way up from a military school cadet to the Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces.
Over the years, he held responsible positions in combat and peacekeeping training. He was the commander of several military units, chief of staff - first deputy commander of the troops of the RGC "West", commander of the troops of the regional command "Astana".
Participant in a peacekeeping operation as part of an engineer-sapper detachment in the Republic of Iraq.
Before his current appointment, he was Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces.
On February 9, 2024, by order of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, he was appointed Deputy Minister of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan for educational and ideological work.
