Saparbekov Olzhas Saparbekovich
Vice-Minister of Industry and Construction of the Republic of Kazakhstan
Biography
Olzhas Saparbekov was born in 1979 in the city of Aktobe. He graduated from the Kazakh Academy of Transport and Communications and the Karaganda State University named after Academician E.A. Buketov.
From 2001 to 2006, he worked within the structure of the national company "Kazakhstan Temir Zholy."
From 2006 to 2016, he held executive positions in commercial organizations.
From 2016 to 2019, he served as an expert and Deputy Director of the Department at the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs "Atameken."
From 2019 to 2021, he was Deputy Head and then Head of the Department of Entrepreneurship and Industrial-Innovative Development of the Akimat of Kostanay Region.
From 2021 to 2023, he served as Deputy Chairman of the Committees for Industrial Development and Transport of the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
From 2023 to 2024, he was Chairman of the Committee for Railway and Water Transport of the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Since February 2024, he has been serving as Vice Minister of Industry and Construction.
