    Biography

    Nurken Olzhabekovich was born on April 28, 1969 in the village of Barshatas, Chubartau district, Semipalatinsk region.
    He has 2 higher educations. He graduated from the Semipalatinsk Institute of Technology in 1994, and graduated from the Kazakh Humanitarian and Legal Innovation University in 2012.

    He started his career in 1986 at a carpool as a locksmith of the 3rd category.
    From 1987 to 1989, he served in the Soviet Army.
    From 2001 to 2003, he worked as an electrician at the Semipalatinsk distribution zone.
    From 2006 to 2008, he was a safety engineer at Vodoteplosnabenie-Semey LLP.
    From 2008 to 2014, he held the position of head of the left bank water supply company Semey Vodokanal.
    From 2014 to 2016, he was the head of production at Kurchatov Vodokanal.
    From 2016 to 2025, he held the position of head of the production site for the operation of the Bel - Agach group water pipeline of the branch of the Republican State Enterprise under the right of economic management Kazvodkhoz.
    From March 2025 to the present, he has been Deputy akim of the Borodulikhinsky district of the Abai region.
