Biography
Born in 1977 in Semipalatinsk Region. Graduated from T. Zhurgenov Kazakh State Institute of Theater and Cinema with a degree in Film Studies, from Al-Farabi Kazakh National University with a master's degree in Journalism, and from Kazakh Innovative University of Humanities and Law with a degree in Law.
Started professional activity in 1997 as a reporter for the news program “Almaty News” on the Tañ TV Company.
1998–1999 – Executive Editor of the news program “News” on NTK Channel.
2000–2007 – Editor-in-Chief of the news program “Informburo” at 31 Channel Broadcasting Company, author and host of the program “Erkin Soz”, Editor-in-Chief and host of the political talk show “Doda”.
2007–2012 – Correspondent in the News Service of the Directorate of Information Programs at Khabar Agency JSC, host of the informational-analytical program “Betpe-Bet”.
2009–2012 – Head of the Anti-Corruption Media Center of Nur-Media LLP under the Nur Otan Party.
2012–2015 – Head of the Press Service – Deputy Head of the Office of the Akim of South Kazakhstan Region; Head of the Department of Internal Policy and Religious Affairs.
2015–2016 – Advisor to the First Deputy Chairman of the Nur Otan Party.
2016–2018 – Advisor to the Minister of Investments and Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Director of the Department of Information Support.
2017–2018 – Host of the socio-political talk show “1-Studio” on the national TV channel “Kazakhstan”.
2018–2019 – Head of the Department of Internal Policy of Zhambyl Region.
2019–2022 – Press Secretary of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
2022–2023 – Chairman of the Board of Khabar Agency JSC.
On September 12, 2023, appointed Advisor to the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Press Secretary of the President by decree of the Head of State.
Since February 17, 2025 – Akim of Abai Region.
